Life’s a Mess

It’s been a while since I’ve blogged. I’ve been writing a lot of poetry lately. Here is one I wrote yesterday:

The Big Test

The thing you should know is
the Lord is testing you,
to see who you are and
to find out the best in you.

You can’t be fragile and
you can’t be stressed and you,
have to be strong, but he’ll still

keep blessing you.

You can’t act innocent if
it’s hard to digest and you,
can’t be depressed if your
soul is undressed and you,

Have to digest what is
making you oppressed and you,
have to do what’s best
to have some peace and some rest.
